It is a joy in this video to visit the Wacknow’s home located in the “Mandala One” development, ideally laid out according to Vedic architecture and city planning, in Maharishi Vedic City, Iowa, USA.
As one enters, the warm colors, arches and tasteful decoration are very charming and welcoming.
The open center of the house, the Brahmasthan, flooded with daylight from all sides, seems to connect and enlighten the house.
On the ground floor we visit the open kitchen / dining / and living area with adjacent screened porch on the south, and the peaceful meditation room.
Soft green walls and covers in the bedroom and a grand master bath tempt one to stay on the upper floor. And in the office we first meet the home owner, who later on tells us a very personal and deeply moving experience of the influence of Maharishi Vastu on health, mental clarity and wellbeing.
It is not hard to imagine, that this is a house where one can be happy and likes to live! Thank you to the Wacknows for opening their doors to all of us in this video tour, and to Jon Lipman for guiding us all the way!
